Melipetó is a sweet and embracing experience. Two light sweet wines designed to be enjoyed quietly in small petons, little kisses in Catalan, turning an aperitif or after-dinner drink into a special occasion. With a pleasant character, their fruity notes stand out, creating them a dessert in their own right. Unlike other sweet wines, Melipetó has less sugar, more acidity and lower alcohol content, resulting in fresh wines with a subtle and balanced sweetness.
Manual harvesting. Fermentation at 22ºC in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation halted by chilling, leaving 100 g/litre of sugar. 12 months in barrels.
Sweet red wine with a cherry colour. Powerful aroma of red fruit, sweet spices, toasted notes typical of its ageing in barrels. Sweet, toasted and spicy on the palate.
